Javelin throw

Have you ever thrown a javelin? If not, it's time to change that! Your corporate event or team building can have a touch of the Olympics thanks to it...

The javelin was a hunting weapon in the past; today it's an Olympic sports discipline, although perhaps in remote parts of the world where modern weapons are not yet known, it is still used for hunting. It combines strength, speed, agility and perfect coordination of movements. You can include it in your sports program as a great experiential activity.

For corporate events and sports events, it's a discipline suitable for men, women and children, with the option to hold a competition for the longest or most accurate throw. We have modern competition javelins available, which are thrown for distance, where it matters how far you throw, or a medieval javelin, which is thrown at a target – in this case a straw target. We'll organize the javelin throw on a field, meadow or other suitable space up to 50 metres long. It's a sports activity suitable for every outdoor team building.

Activity process

After a short explanation, you compete in throwing the javelin for distance or at a target (straw target, warrior figure). After each throw (or the throw of both javelins) the achieved points can be recorded, so it's possible to prepare a competition for individuals or whole teams. We can add other Olympic activities to the activity, and during the corporate event you can feel like a real participant. You'll enjoy a pleasant atmosphere in the company of your colleagues, employees, clients and business partners.
