Historical archery

Going back in time and trying something that was part of our ancestors' lives? Most of us have already tried shooting modern weapons, but only few have tried the older, yet more traditional, shooting with a historical bow. Forget the modern gadgets that today's modern bows have to make a precise hit easier, and try their predecessors.

If you're thinking about a thematically tuned team building program from the medieval period, or you want to awaken a medieval fighting spirit in yourself, then historical archery will be the right choice. The historical atmosphere will accompany you throughout the whole corporate event, and thanks to it you can enjoy sports games full of new experiences.

This activity is an ideal opportunity to try shooting historical weapons, which include traditional bows that people made by hand without the use of machines as is done today in our modern era. Discover the charm of traditional bows as people knew them for thousands of years. In the past they were used – and in some parts of the world are still used to this day – for hunting game, long-distance combat or even spiritual development.

In period historical archery, traditional bows are used, which we can supplement with shooting from traditional crossbows. You'll shoot with traditional wooden arrows at straw targets.

To strengthen the historical atmosphere, our archery instructors will also be dressed in period costumes of Welsh archers. We'll explain the correct shooting technique and then give individual attention to each person. If this shooting activity is part of your team building, we can organize an interesting competition of individuals or teams for you.

The activity can be carried out as part of the program for an outdoor or indoor team building, either in our indoor archery hall in Viničné near Pezinok or in the outdoor area in Bernolákovo. We'll gladly organize historical archery for you at another location too, which we'll come to anywhere in Slovakia.
